General Information

Program Location

The school is held at the Brandolini Colomban Castle in Cison di Valmarino, 40 kilometers north of Treviso, in Veneto, in the north-east of Italy. The castle is now a hotel with meeting, sporting, recreational and well-being facilities.

Accommodation

Accommodation is in double rooms; however, a small number of single rooms are available at an extra charge, on a first-come first-served basis. The castle offers accommodation both inside the castle grounds and within walking distance. Choices can be made only on a first-come first-served basis. Check-in is Sunday afternoon or evening (Saturday afternoon or evening for those attending the Stata course) and check-out is Saturday morning of the following week (Sunday morning for those students attending only the first week course and the second Stata course). If different arrangements are required, they should be made with the hotel administrator in advance. More information can be found in the course application form and in the hotel accommodation form in the application section of the website.

Scholarships Scholarships

A limited number of Scholarships are available. Scholarships cover the cost of tuition, for at most one week. Only registered students may apply. The request to be considered for a scholarship should be communicated in writing at the time of the application and no later than March 1, 2012 together with the courses of interests, the student's CV, and the documentation to certify the student's status. Notification of having being awarded (or not) a scholarship will be communicated no later than March 20, 2012.

Registration Fee

The registration fee includes only the course tuition. The final deadline for registration is May 31, 2012. Fees depend on whether the applicant is currently a student at an accredited university, or not.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation postmarked or faxed before 15 May 2012 will entitle the applicant to a full refund of the tuition. A cancellation postmarked or faxed after this time, but still before the start of the course, will entitle the applicant to receive a 50% refund of the tuition. In both cases the deposit fee will not be refundable. In all other cases (including no-shows, premature departure) the tuition will not be reimbursed. Cancellation must be made in writing. In the unlikely event that a course(s) needs to be canceled, the School will make this decision as early as possible and will notify the students. In no event will the School be responsible for costs incurred by canceled travel reservations.
